The flocs generated from the hydrofoil coagulator are smaller and harder than those of the paddle type (vertical or horizontal), resulting in less floc breakage and higher turbidity removal efficiency. However, since the sedimentation time may be longer than that of the paddle, a design that sufficiently considers the residence time of the sedimentation tank is required.
하이드로포일형 응집기로 생성된 플럭은 패들식(수직,수평)에 비해 보다 작고 단단한 특성을 가지고 있어 플럭 깨짐현상이 적어 탁도제거 효율이 좋습니다. 다만 패들에 비해 침강시간이 길어질 수 있으므로 침전조의 체류시간을 충분히 고려한 설계가 필요합니다.
